I have to share something a friend told me on Friday.
Her mother parks her car in the garage where they also happen to keep the dog food. And it is a thatch roof house – which means that it tends to attract more critters.
One winter her car was giving her troubles, so she decided it was time for a service. The service went pretty routinely apart from the fact that they pulled out 2 kilos of dog food and a dead rat out of her engine. Clearly the rats made sure they had a warm and cozy bed for winter.
Needless to say, they don’t keep the dog food in the garage any more.
