Its all fun and games.

Graeme has been playing the typical hide-behind-something-and-pop-up-game for a while now. It has been cute and all, even had a “doo” (boo) thrown in lately.

But the highlight of the last few days has been the good and proper game of hide and seek we have been playing.

No counting is involved, unless you can count “two-two-two” as counting.

I start the game by saying to him “Run and hide, run and hide” and I quickly run away from him making noisy little foot tapping sounds in the process. I will hide in the spare bedroom, either behind the door, the cupboard, in the cupboard or behind the curtain.

He quickly chases after me and looks in all the likely spots for me. When he does find me with the proudest grin, it is his turn and he makes his dash for it. His best spots are between the couch and the wall and between the chest of drawers and the wall <both in plain view>. There he stands quietly until I come up and grab him, which causes him to erupt in screeches of laughter. And thus starting the game again.

I really am loving this age.

Early nap

I put him down for an earlier nap than normal. Was very grumpy. He normally goes down between 11 and 1.

Smiles for mommy.

Graeme giving me a naughty smile in the car.

Sick baba and sick mama.

Turns out Graeme and I have successful managed to fall ill at the same time. And as my friend says I never do things in half measures, I am currently writing exams too.

Graeme is now getting better and falling back into his old routine. He went down for his nap today, after an hour Bearn brought him though as he had woken up. I put him on my chest and started reading my history studies aloud to him. Within seconds he was asleep again. Every time he stirred I read. He then managed another 2 hours asleep. I could start reading deeper into this…

Footnote: I didn’t realise my hair was quite this long.

Car ride

They say we all have a twin in the world. Well if Graeme can’t find him I think I have. (Or we can make one.)

I have become good freinds with a mom from the Moomie Forum ( ) and it just so happens that we have bought so many items in common for our boys. Her gorgeous, blue eyed Connor is almost 2 months older than Graeme.

“My dad’s cooler than yours!”

(Graeme has the same toy that is next to Connor)

Winnie the Pooh sleeper.

Gogo Sleeper.

And there are more!!

Spring time walk

Today I went for my daily walk and gave myself a challenge to take a photo of each flower I saw. I must say it made me enjoy the walk more and I really stopped to smell the flowers.

This guy way as big as my finger.

My little flower. And my go at an artistic shot.

Aruim Lilies on the side of the road, at the very end of my walk just for my mommy.

Huh. When did the walk finish?? We just left. (Note the dribble.)
